I’m Alice a Registered Music Therapist based in Adelaide, South Australia.
I work with children, teenagers and adults of all ages to create accessible and inclusive, participatory music experiences.
Recently I have been exploring the synergies between creative arts therapy, musical theatre and sensory theatre in an original theatre production, Press Play: interactive concert for kids.
While Music Therapy can offer benefits in many contexts, my experience is in offering Music Therapy:
- to support early childhood development; and
- to support mental health.
Qualifications
I have a Master of Music Therapy from the University of Melbourne (2021) and participate in regular supervision as well as training and professional development programs.
I am a classically trained pianist and multi-instrumentalist (playing in rock bands for 25+ years) and also offer resources which are free to download, for introductory learning of piano, guitar and ukulele.
